I received this email from the College Board today.
If you recently went through the college application and financial aid process with your student, it’s not too late to find ways to reduce the financial impact of college for this kid or the next one(s). While AP testing is a great way to earn college credits, you must take a yearlong course and then sit for an exam given only one day in May. CLEP testing could be a better option for those who have college-level knowledge and want to get the job done quickly. https://clep.collegeboard.org/earn-college-cred…/clep-basics. There is another organization dedicated to “Freshman Year for Free”. Check out the free courses they offer from highly reputable institutions as prep for the CLEP tests. https://modernstates.org/freshman-year-free/
